Retained storage is billed, and starter credit is a CreditGrant
Retained storage is now charged as published in “What you pay for”: checkpoints, Volume and Workspace data,
Sandbox snapshots and agent sessions above the 10 GB included per org are metered hourly and charged once a day
from your balance. Only storage of objects you still have is charged: deleting the Job, Volume, Workspace,
Sandbox or Agent stops its charge. nodus get usage --group-by meter shows the storage lines.
Storage left unpaid gets email notices at 7, 21 and 28 days, as described on the pricing page.
The starter credit of a new org is a CreditGrant with its expiry date (nodus get creditgrants), and unspent
starter credit expires at the end of its term. Orgs created earlier get the same CreditGrant for their starter
credit; it expires at the end of its term, and no sooner than a week after this release.
Budget thresholds, a Budget being used up, a cost cap stopping work and a low balance are recorded as Events on
the Budget, the stopped object or the BillingAccount, besides the email.
