The new nodus CLI
nodus 1.0 is a new command line built on the Kubernetes API model. The same verbs work for every resource:
get, describe, apply, diff, edit, delete, logs, exec, attach, cp, port-forward, wait,
explain and more, with -o json|yaml|jsonpath|custom-columns, label and field selectors and -w.
- Sign in once per machine.
nodus loginconfirms in the browser and stores one key per org in the OS keychain;--deviceworks over SSH and--with-tokenin CI. Contexts live in~/.nodus/config, which is also a kubeconfig, sokubectl get jobs.nodus.devworks. nodus runuploads the current directory, shows the estimate before anything is charged, prints each phase, streams your program’s output and ends with the cost itemized by segment. It exits with your command’s exit code;-ddetaches and Ctrl+C asks before canceling.- Billing from the terminal.
nodus billingshows the balance, billing top-up 50opens checkout, andbilling usage --group-by day -o csvexports usage. - Signed releases for macOS, Linux and Windows on x86-64 and ARM64, through pip, Homebrew and the install script, each with checksums, an SBOM and a cosign signature.
See Install the CLI and Nodus for kubectl users.
If you used the 0.x CLI, its ~/.nodus/config.toml is renamed to config.0x.bak on first run; sign in again with
nodus login. NODUS_BASE_URL still works as an alias of NODUS_API_URL, with a warning. nodus convert nodus.toml turns a 0.x job file into a Job manifest (and nodus.training.json into a TrainingJob) and names
every field that does not carry over; nodus init scaffolds a new manifest or app.py.
